AlphaTorq Powertrain Limited warranty for Automatic Transmission and Transfer Cases.

Alpha Torque and Transmission FZC (“AlphaTorq”) warrants to the purchaser for the time and/ or mileage indicated below that it will repair or replace, at its option, Transmission/Transaxle, Transmission Component, Transfer Case that fails due to a defect in material or workmanship. AlphaTorq will use new or remanufactured parts for repair or replacement. Warranty coverage is based on months/mileage, whichever comes first, and begins on the date of installation by AlphaTorq or by a qualified Independent Service Center.

Repairs or replacements do not extend the original warranty. A replacement product is warranted only for the un-expired time remaining on the original warranty.

Coverage:

Automatic Transmission/ Transfer case: 12-Month/ 24,000 Kilometer whichever occurs first

CVT Transmission: the coverage is for 6-Month/12,000 Kilometer whichever occurs first

Limitation:

THIS WARRANTY DOES NOT COVER:

  • Damage due to improper installation, negligence, alteration, accident, or improper use. Proper vehicle use is discussed in the vehicle Owner’s Manual.
  • Any vehicle that has been used for racing (on or off track), stunt driving, performance testing, or used under other extreme operating conditions.
  • Any vehicle where the odometer has been disconnected or the mileage reading has been altered.
  • Damage caused by lack of proper maintenance as described in the vehicle’s original Owner’s Manual/ Maintenance Schedule, failure to follow Maintenance Schedule intervals, or failure to use or maintain proper type and levels of transmission fluid recommended in the Owner’s Manual/Maintenance Schedule. Proof of proper maintenance is the owner’s responsibility.
  • Damage as a result of overheating, contamination or lack of lubrication.
  • Use of components in excess of maximum torque specification.
  • Damage as a result of modification/replacement of torque converter that is part of transmission assembly.
  • Loss of time, inconvenience, loss of use, or other economic loss.
  • Damage caused by failure of electric/electronic component or any other component that is outside of the transmission.
  • The Warranty is not transferable.
